PAC Information

Welcome to CHSS PAC.  We are a non-fundraising organization dedicated to supporting extra-curricular activities for our students.  We receive funds via the Community Gaming Grant Program (set rate per registered student).  These funds are distributed to the CHSS extra-curricular clubs and teams.  CHSS PAC also offers an organized voice to parents on matters relating to their student’s secondary education. 

 

All parents & guardians are automatically members of the CHSS PAC and are encouraged to attend meetings. 

 

To continue to receive Gaming Grant funding it is important that we have an Executive committee (Chair/President, Vice Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer) . We would like to thank everyone who has volunteered for the last few years. A few of these positions will need to be filed for this year, so please come to our first meeting Sept 10, 2024 @ 7pm and consider filling a position.

 

A Message From CHSS PAC
2025 Greetings from the CHSS PAC Executive Team!! Did you know that by having a student enrolled in the school, you are automatically a PAC member? 

 

Would you like to see more financial support for Band? Debate? Pottery? Sewing? Sports? Clubs? Yearbook? 
Language/Cultural events? Gaming/Tech? Student Support/Awards? School Community Events? Or something else? All you need to do is attend our PAC meetings, and they are only once a month! 

 

If we don’t have enough parental/guardian involvement we run the risk of dissolving and that means losing the 
$20,000 we get each year to support our students. Our Treasurer role will soon be vacant (graduating children 
have that effect). We are desperately seeking a Treasurer in-Training to come shadow before the end of the year.

 

Please join our next meeting set for Monday, February 10th 7PM in the Multipurpose Room. Join the PAC 
executive to help make a difference for our kids (by the way, our PAC is NON-fundraising).
